What Can I Earn And is it Safe?

During the summer your average customers are families - typically with responsible parents in their 30s or 40s. They generally want to take the kids to a campsite for a week, once there they'll park up the van and get some serious rest and relaxation. They're careful and drive safely and slowly to the campsite, in our experience people respect the need to drive vans slowly and respect the vans themselves.

In the summer for a classic bay or Brazilian you will typically earn between £600 and £800 for a week. For a T5 about the same and between £500-£600 for a T3 or T4. Glastonbury is an extremely popular week... initially people may fear renting their van out for it. However, a family that can afford 4 festival tickets and then pays, often over £600 to sleep in your van for a few days will certainly take care of it. Further, you can be sure that it will be safely parked up in the secure festival campervan field for a few days.

Whether you have a splitscreen, bay, wedge or a modern van we're happy to have you on board. If you do weddings we have lots of wedding campers listed too! There are plenty of customers for every type of vehicle and holiday experience. Once your van is listed, customers can see on the Camperbug calendar whether your van is available and you will receive enquiries through the inbuilt messaging system.

What Are My Obligations When I Join?

You have absolutely no obligations to Camperbug. We are a completely 100% NON Exclusive service. Your campervan is your own! You are under no obligation to accept any business and you can refuse any customer you wish.

We are in our 5th year and are a customer focused service, we want HAPPY customers and HAPPY campervan owners! So, you're free to turn away customers till the cows come home, your choice. But... you might have the odd weekend spare and you receive an enquiry for a last minute booking and you think, Why Not!

What Does It Cost?

It is completely free to be listed on Camperbug. There is a 10% commission on any holidays that are booked through the system. But remember that you will lose nothing from having your van listed but have a lot to gain. Once you have started, you'll wonder why you never did it before!
