Guests are more than welcome to pitch or park up in a quiet corner that picks their fancy. The grassy, six-acre camping field remains enclosed by mature trees, offering guests the options of setting up camp in a sunny or shady area. The simple site is the perfect base for those who enjoy quiet walks, long hikes and rural rambles, offering easy access to numerous walking paths. The woods and fields of the Holt Heath National Nature Reserve enclose the site, providing campers with mile upon mile of wildlife-filled landscapes to explore. For more open, green spaces, head over to Ferndown Forest which, holds a range of tracks and paths meandering past open areas and gleaming streams. Set aside a time to soak in the views from the Cannon Hill section. Uddens Park is also a fab spot for accessing the Castleman Trailway, plus many other pushchairs and wheelchair friendly gravel tracks. Free spirits will love the laid-back atmosphere at Clayford Field, where guests are welcome to pick their pitch and enjoy the delights of campfires and barbeques. Pets welcome.
