A smooth fifteen-minute drive leads to renowned family-friendly attractions like Longleat House and Longleat Safari Park. Crafty campers can enjoy the convenience of camping on the grounds of a pub site with easy options for grabbing a bite. Kick back, sip on cold bevvies all day and dig into a range of delicious takeaway options, which are all handily available at the site. If the fickle British weather decides to bless the area with barbeque friendly weather, whip out your grills and let bangers and other bits sizzle over the flickering flames. If you’re too tired to cook, or you’re just not in the mood to fan flames, simply mosey over to the pub for slap-up meals and drinks. The campsite enjoys a prime position on the fringes of the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It offers easy access to a range of circular walking trails that crisscross the scenic surrounds. Pretty gardens and historic buildings like Nunney Castle, the Walled Garden and Stourhead National Trust property are within easy reach. Pitch up on a non-electric grass base or enjoy the creature comforts in the bell tent and cabin. Sorry, no pets allowed.
