Nine Acres Camping Caravan Park is a compact, serene family-run campsite ideally located no more than two miles from the buzzing town of Laugharne which was labelled the “strangest town in Wales” by the late great Dylan Thomas. The campsite also enjoys proximity to the seven-mile Pendine Sands which boast of spectacular views, so come on by and settle in for a peaceful, memorable stay. Spend your days wandering through wind-swept lush fields, explore long stretches of pristine sand, follow well-marked coastal trails for rewarding views, or decide to sit back and unwind on the beach with a cold drink of choice in hand. Keep a watchful eye over the kids as they clamber around the ruins of a 13th-century Laugharne Castle, or follow the fantastic Dylan Thomas Mile which kicks-off in his boathouse on the lovely Taf Estuary. Feel free to wander along the stunning Wales Coast Path and take in the spectacular Welsh landscape. Head back to base after a long day of sightseeing and soak in the sunset while the charcoal fires up for a delicious alfresco meal. The site offers grass plots for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Communal facilities include toilets, showers and chemical disposal. Pets welcome.
