If in doubt I Thoroughly Recomend hiring Kermit out for a camping trip. We took him for 10 days around the UK, through the Peak District and Lake District. Didnt have any problems and had many people coming up to us saying that he was one of the coolest campervans theyd seen. The owner has completely modernised the interior with a cool finishing touch and was very nice and friendly. The projector and screen was key for the chilled rainy days. 1010, would defs rent again.

My 5 year old son and I excitedly arrived at Herman’s home on a sunny Monday morning and received a warm welcome from his owner, Al. Weve gone camping in a tent several times but had no experience of a camper or driving one so as well as being excited I was slightly nervous too. Al soon settled those nerves as he gave us a helpful run down of the van and he backed it out of his drive too making it nice and easy to move our belongings from car to van and drive off. We received our first wave from another VW camper within the first 2 miles and that put a big smile on my face. :D Herman is easy to drive and theres good visibility all around too, you sit a little bit higher than in a car so get to see a few more things and that makes driving a bit more fun and interesting.

Once on the campsite it was very easy to set up – pop the roof, swivel the front double seat, plug into electric and job done! The van does look very cool in it’s mix of red and white inside and out and everyone who walked by would admire it and some stopped for a chat. My son particularly liked the roof bed and spent most of his time up there when we werent out and about exploring. I found the pull out double bed comfortable with my sleeping bag and had a really good night’s sleep (I usually dont sleep well when camping). Although compact for a camper van it has all the essentials covered.

We hired Herman for 3 nights, collecting him around 9.30 on Monday morning and taking him back about 3.30 Thursday afternoon. We headed down to Woodlands Grove theme park and campsite in Devon (which I definitely recommend). We had a few stops on the way for lunch and sightseeing and went to Torquay another day and the model village there. We left our own car with Al and it was there safe and sound when we arrived back. Both of us had an amazing time and I would highly recommend Herman, hes a great T5 with lots of fun details inside and out and will keep you smiling all the way!

We truly enjoyed our trip with Otis. It was a surprise for our younger sons 10th birthday. We explored London, stayed on a nearby Camping ground called Theobalds Park and visited the Warner Brother Harry Potter Studios. The owners, Dan and Laura, are really wonderful and they were extremely helpful. Otis is a fantastic vehicle with lots of lovely details like an old record player, original vintage suitcases and an extra matress on top of the bed. We slept really well. In the fridge, there was a "welcome pack" with drinks and breakfast and even two Little birthday cakes with a beautiful home-made "Happy Birthday" tag. You can really feel the love and work that has gone into making this original 1973 vehicle a comfortable Little home. Thanks so much for this experience!

Joe couldnt have been more helpful, he helped me load up the camper with all our gear and all the extras we needed. He took us for a quick drive around the block so I was totally confident about driving. Everything was clean and tidy and in very good condition. He even kindly organised for my Dartford tunnel charge to be paid as I was going to a festival and had no reception. Cant recommend highly enough.

I spent a wonderful week with Thunder Betty in Orkney and she was perfect company. A mobile artist studio that allowed me to stay in the most amazing of landscapes in comfort and style. The equipment provided (including a handy generator) maps and recommendation of wild camping locations were spot on. Craig the owner was friendly and helpful and I will certainly be coming back for more. **********

As first timers in a camper van, we were a bit uncertain about how it would all work out. We needn\t have worried - we had a fab time. Mel made sure we understood how everything worked (alarm, lights, fridge, cooker, driving and the all-important roof mechanism) and we were able to check things out with her once we were underway. Betty Flo made it up some pretty big hills, including the highest pass in Scotland; down some narrow winding lanes; and held her own on the motorway. We started out travelling up the East coast to Scarborough and then we hit the Highlands visiting Killin and Aviemore. Then across to the Applecross peninsula (beautiful) and Skye. Our homeward journey included Hadrian\s Wall and a night in the North Yorkshire national park. We made good use of our bikes which were carried on the simple but solid bike rack. We had hired the awning but ended up not using it as we moved on fairly frequently. Betty Flo is solid and reassuring, jolly and good looking. She attracted lots of positive attention on campsites and car parks. We learned to bluff in conversations about engines and refits. We had a great time (thanks Mel) and would thoroughly recommend Betty Flo.

We had a wonderful weekend in Henry. He was really comfortable to sleep in (2 adults up top, 2 kids on the bottom) and once Id got used to the left hand drive, a joy to drive. Andrew was extremely helpful and thorough with al the arrangements. I hope to be hiring Henry again soon.

This was a great van for a great week away. Communication before hire was very clear and arranging the collection was easy. I was clearly briefed about the van and where everything was and how everything worked. The van came with so many extras including DVDs and table games, outside table and chairs, all the cooking bits with things like tea bags oil salt pepper. The van was very clean and perfect to get straight away for our holiday. We travelled nearly 2k in miles into France for a very hot and relaxing holiday. The awning and the outside light on the side of the van was very useful to sit out many evenings. Would highly recommenced and will use again.

We hired Florence to take to the hotrod hayride at Bisley last week. Had an amazing time! Really great van, amazingly well equipped and comfortable home for the weekend. Have driven a couple of campers before but none compare to Florence. Would highly recommend to anyone, Sharon and Martin were great, a pleasure to deal with and very helpful lovely people! We will definitely call them again for our next camping trip! Cheers!

Hired violet for a vw festival and she went down a storm with vw enthusiasts. She had everything we needed so was able to pack light which was a bonus with a young child and a teenager. Provided a awning which was brand new and very easy to put up. The TV, DVD player and the fridge came in very handy to keep the kids occupied and the beer cold! The guys were great and converted the van themselves to a high standard, and explained how to work everything before we set off. There was also secure parking provided for our own car. Would definitely recommend violet and will be booking her again..... May even use The owners to convert our own camper in the future!

Hi there, heres my review:-

We hired Purple Hattie for 4 days in July & had a really wonderful time.
Booking was very easy & it was good to be able to contact the owner-Janet who answered all my stupid questions!
When we picked Hattie up Stuart showed us where everything was in the Camper & explained the gears & very useful power steering!!
It took a few miles to get used to it but I soon felt confident & we drove to West Wittering, Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, Weymouth & Poole before heading back home, even getting up to 62mph on the M5!!
We loved waving to other Campervans & have definitely got the "Camperbug"!!
Have already recommended to friends & will definitely be hiring Hattie or another campervan in the future.

Had a great few days in the New Forest when we hired Florence from David. We had the best weather so far this year and having Florence to drive made the holiday even better.
David was very helpful when we arrived to pick up her up. He went through everything we needed to do and how to drive the car. Florence came with everything we needed for our lovely break.

I had a wonderful time, Otis is a superstar. Me and friends enjoyed him so much and the little touches from the owners made it super nice, like providing some food and drink included.

Otis is in great condition and drives easily.

Rented out Devon Blue for 3 nights. Fantastic handover from Lee. Showed us where everything was and was very patient with us as novice campervan drivers. Took the van from Glenshee to Oban. On the second day we went over to Arisaig and spent our last night in Tyndrum. Weather mixed but absolutely loved it.

Hi ,
We hired "Ladyboy" - It was an amazing experience. There were 4 of us with me the Mrs and our two boys (aged 10 and 8). At night it was cosy and during the day we had the flexibility to travel and see the sights of many different and unique areas of the south coast. In seven days we managed to go from Kent to the Isle of Wight and onwards to Devon and Cornwall.

The weather was amazing which helped but everything that we would need in the event of a downpour was provided. Ladyboy had many admirers that we met along the way.
Perfect holiday.
