My 14 year old son & I hired Dixy for a week-end trip to Eastbourne. Rob (the owner) was exceptionally helpful right from my first enquiry – he will guide you through everything about Dixy including a test drive & be available on the ‘phone should you need any assistance. Dixy has not been refurbished, so everything is original but that just adds character. Be prepared to “cruise” & travel very relaxed – Eastbourne is quite a distance but we had no problems. All the neighbours came out to admire Dixy – VW campers are so cool! Best recommendation was from my son who said “I want one even more now” after our trip. So if you want an unforgettable adventure & experience persuade Rob to let you have Dixy for a short while.

A fantastic weekend from beginning to end. Andrew could not have been more helpful before booking, on pick up and during our trip. Our two year old had two excellent nights of sleep which made his parents very happy too! Id highly recommend Henry - he was a delight!

John was on time and the camper van was immaculate.
John was happy to let guests sit in the van and have photos taken with it.
i would recommend anyone to book this vehicle for any occasion.

We had a great time in Edward who is a beautiful camper and wonderfully equipped.
Mike and Justine were really helpful and couldnt do enough to make our trip a brilliant one. The views from the camper over the Peak district landscape were brilliant!

Just returned from an amazing week away in Callie in Somerset and Devon. Alex was a great owner and we had almost eveything we needed for a great trip.
My daughter loved the pop up top and "high" bed and spent most of the time napping above as mum had a much needed rest below.
Cannot fault this van as it was very nippy, kept in pristine condition and was the envy of the live in field.
I am a California convert and cant wait to use her again!
Thanks to Alex for his trust and we had an amazing time.

Unfortunately the van I hired broke down on the day I should have gone away and I had to hire something else at the last minute. Not easy as it was Glastonbury festival weekend.
Very disappointed all round , the hirer returned my money in full however.

My little boy and I went for a road trip around Cornwall in Bruno and we had the best time! He is so easy to drive and we were always comfortable! The gas hob and sink are so easy to use, and I found the bed comfortable. Libby was really helpful, and they provided so much equipment with Bruno. Absolute pleasure and we will be using them again next year!

Rented the van for a weekend to celebrate a friends 50th. After a very in depth hand over and a short drive I was able to set the van up by myself as my husband had a broken foot. The 3 of us, including my 11 year old son has a great weekend making full use of all the facilities. The van was fully equipped with everything we needed, bed was comfortable. The awning was very easy to put up and take down, I managed it all on my own.would thoroughly recommend renting this van to anyone.

Took the camper to Glasto - And I cannot recommend Andy and his Yellow Camper Van The Colnel enough. Right from the off he was friendly, helpful and above all really enthusiastic about the van and us having the best time with it - even texting us after the first night to make sure everything was OK. Its an absolute classic - comfortable even on the top bunk - on the last night we had it I slept in it on the drive because it offered such a good nights sleep! Its very well stocked - got everything you need, even magnetic lights! Didnt want to give it back and wouldnt hesitate hiring it again. Thanks Andy for a top week with your van! :) Katie

5am and after a hard nights partying The Colonel welcomes me home...

we had a great weekend hiring Toots to take to a family friends wedding. Ian the owner was superb and made the organising of booking etc very easy. The van was in immaculate condition and was very straightforward to drive (albeit requiring some patience and skills that have often been lost in the age of power controlled steering and speedy acceleration). Dropping off the van was easy and Ian even gave us a lift back to the airport. All in all a great experience that can be recommend to anyone. Im sure well do it again.

We rented the van for our trip to Silverstone and she was wonderful. Easy to drive and had everything you could wish for. It was my first campervan experience and I would definitely do it again. And to owner was super friendly and explained everything patiently. All in all fantastic.

We took the camper to a local festival, it was sparkling clean, had everything we could possibly need inside, drove beautifully and the hirers were fantastic with communication and information. Great price too, all of our friends had a look inside and a fair few are plotting to hire from them in the near future. Can totally recommend them, sadly we didnt take any pictures however the photos of the van on the hire page gave the exact right impression of the camper, we loved it - thank you :)

We hired Betty Flo for a long weekend in July, and took her down to Cornwall - she got admiring glances everywhere she went! Once we got used to the camper pace of life we ambled around the coast enjoying the driving. Bedtime was comfy and cosy for 2 of us, and the well equipt kitchen kept us out of mischief in the evenings cooking up some dinner. Highly recommend her, Mel (owner) was really helpful and approachable. We had a great time, thank you!
