Patsy our wonderful home for husbands birthday weekend surprise was a delight. Everything you could need was provided and lots of thought put into making our trip a fun and memorable experience.

Being tall, the sleeping was a bit cramped but Patsy bought a smile to our faces and Im sure will have the same effect on anyone else who hires her.

Hi Camperbug Team,
we had a lovely time with the hired van "Betty" for one week on the end of May.
The owners are really nice and they picked us up at the trainstation in Huntly
and explained everything to us.
So we drove the north coastal 500 with "Betty" and stayed at many very nice places.
Everything worked fine - so thank you very much to the owners of "Betty" and to
Camperbug.

LOVE this camper. We hired it for our daughters prom and it was perfect. Communication from Jo, the owner, was brilliant with quick responses and really easy transactions. Totally reliable and would 100% hire it again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My girlfriend and I rented Merlot for a friend’s wedding in East Sussex. The van itself is beautiful and clearly very loved. You wouldn’t believe from looking at it that it was as old as it is. Sarah was very thorough and helpful in showing us all the elements of the van and the correct way to do everything, which made us feel at ease. Driving the van was daunting to start with – partly because it’s like driving an antique and partly because it’s big and clunky! But I got used to the driving very quickly and once we were on the road we started to properly enjoy ourselves. The back seat folds out to sleep, which was okay although I would recommend taking the extra bedding as it was a tad uneven in places. Other than that though, everything was perfect and we had a great time – definitely keen to go on another camper adventure soon!

Very enjoyable and comfortable weekend "glamping" in the very Pretty Primrose in Dorset for a family birthday party. Although we didnt get the expected sunny summer weather primrose is so well equipped and so beautifully decorated we happily relaxed snuggled up inside listening to the rain outside...when the sun came out it was the icing on the cake to enjoy the champagne and cake in the deck chairs outside. Very professional and efficient service and extra thanks for the pick up and collection.

Took Bodhi to Glastonbury and it was a life saver - we had the best time and the campervan was perfect - cosy and extremely comfortable bed! Darren - was so helpful and accommodating which made the transaction and weekend smoother and special.

We had a brilliant holiday in Kevins orange T5 Summerlleaze camper van. He was very helpful spending time to show us how the equipment and van worked. It was well equipped and drove like a dream and was a joy, easily negotiating the roads. It took us to three great campsites between Bude and Padstow,with an awning table and chairs for outside space and cosy interior for the evenings. It is well worth seeing lovely Cornwall in this way. Not to be missed are the local walks, pasties, cream teas, ale, beaches and friendly people. LOVELY.

Sue and Jack were lovely and very responsive to messages and accommodating with pick up times. They have only recently had Indy professionally converted to a very high standard and we were lucky enough to be only the second people to hire him. As well as all the usual toys youd expect you get an electric fold down bed thats really comfortable and an ovengrill. The van is fully fitted with everything you need - pots & pans, cutlery etc plus outside table and chairs - just bring your food & beer and duvets & pillows and youre sorted! Couldnt fault anything, Indy really is like new and we are now converted VW Bus Campers and looking to buy our own just like Indy. Thoroughly recommended !! :-)

My wife and I took Fea the camper on an adventure along the North coast of Scotland. As you can imagine there were many stops where the views were breathtaking, yet many other Scottish sightseers had more interest in looking at the beautiful little van which we had rented than the views! The van itself is very well maintained and comes with all the essentials you will need which are also clean and look unused.

The guys who rented us the van were fantastic, and if you are looking for a quirky adventure or just something a little different from the norm I cannot recommend this camper van enough.

Jemima is a dream of a campervan hire; really friendly, easy, informative handover and a no hassle speedy refunding of deposit paid. She did me proud at Glastonbury Festival 2016 and I would LOVE to take her to Glastonbury 2017. She has electrical hook up cable and sockets supplied, refrigerator box and gas canisters.

My only constructive criticism re website is the changeover to liaison by email with camper owner wasnt quite clear. But that might just be mobile phone web access & me being blind!

Chas was part of our crew for Glastonbury this year, and got us there and back in style and kept us dry throughout! He can take four adults inside without issue, but i definitely recommend getting the awning to put all your supplies and for hanging out in as it extends the living and storage space considerably. Pauline and Terry were very helpful asking any questions we had both before and during Glastonbury to make sure we had a good time. Hes ideal for a festival and has everything you need. If I havent bought a VW like Chas myself before our next Glastonbury we may take him again :)

We loved having BettyFlo at Glastonbury! She was the best shelter during the torrential storms we had, and also proved herself to be a great off road vehicle when we had to drive home through masses of mud. She was super cosy and easy to use would definitely love to take her next year! Thanks Mel :) x

Dexter was a brilliant little camper, saved our lives at Glastonbury and would definitely hire him again. He has everything you could ever want for a really comfortable stay. Mark was great, pick up was really easy. Would defintiely recommend!

We came across Camperbug by chance - seems like an Airbnb for camper vans. Easy to use. Some owners take quite a while to respond though.

We hired Waterloo - fab for us as we wanted a van we could pick up in London. Communication easy, pick up times very flexible & van perfect. We went on. Yr 6 camping weekend to Dunwich. Van & weekend perfect, particularly given the torrential rain.

Highly recommend Waterloo - David & Rachel perfect owners & very helpful. Our go to choice for the future.

Hello Camperbug,

Had a great time at Glastonbury Festival despite the weather and queues. I do have some feedback for you although it isnt really that positive. I did feel that you could trust people a bit more to deal with the hirer direct. I found myself in the situation where I was being asked to give £64 to Camperbug without any real guarantee that the camper van I was looking at really existed or that Camperbug themselves werent just some scam site.

As it is, I did some background research and felt reasonably confident that you were a genuine site and as it was, I was really pleased by my hire.

However, I could see you putting a lot of people off with the leap of faith you are asking them to make. I also appreciate that you need to ensure that you get your percentage for introducing hirers to people who want to hire. I also do not think that the amount you ask is unreasonable. But a bit more reassurance to hirers by allowing them to speak to van owners would not have gone amiss.

Thanks very much for the service, but I think you need to have a little more faith in your customers, or at least have some more reassurance or explanation available on your website. I hope that makes sense.
