We booked Rosie55 for a special birthday gift for our son. Rosie55 is a lovely van and on a little break in Wales, managed to keep them cosy in a blizzard of snow, enjoy a beach trip in pure VW campervan style in the sunshine, and host an impromptu dining experience for the family get together. They had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The van is reasonably well equipped, however would benefit from extra blankets and a heater during cold weather. They were listed on the inventory but not in the van.

Rented Harvey for a quick weekend break in East Sussex ( Bodiam Castle) had an amazing trip away. The Camper van was spacious and really well equipped - would definitely recommend, although driving with no power steering does take getting used to !

"PRIMROSE"

Exceptional little van i had soooooo much fun the left hand drive was a bit weird but after a couple of miles wasnt a problem, she was comfortable and easy to drive and hums away at 50 mph quite happily, cant say anything bad about her she really is a special little van.
booking her was easy and straight forward one e-mail from this site then i was talking directly to the lovely couple that rented us their pride and joy,
we used primrose for our honeymoon and went from the new forest Dorset to lands end Cornwall port Issac (port wenn doc martin) ilfracoombe where we got engaged mousehole and a fair few other places and not a single complaint from primrose.
cooking and sleeping was fun not a chore.
i can quite happily and truthfully say this was 1 of the easiest and best holidays i,ve had (even though it was my honeymoon) and would recommend whole heartily to anyone thinking about it go for it you wont be disappointed.

We hired Wez and Victor for our wedding on 2416 and wow what a pair !!!
Wez was a true gent and extremely helpful and considerate at all times and Victor blew us away !!! Plenty of space, a smooth ride and immaculately presented with our choice of burgundy ribbon, this duo were a real asset to our wedding and for that we thank you both. Book now you wont regret it !!!

Wedding

We drove from Southampton to Amsterdam and back and absolutely loved the experience with Blair! Fuel efficiency was really good and it was such a comfortable ride. Our dog enjoyed himself too. Cant wait to do it again!

We had a fab time in No 5 over a weekend mid-April. As a sailing family there are often 2 day events at nearby lakes and as the sailing clubs have all the amenities, it is a no-brainer to stay the night, given you have proper accommodation. Staying in a tent wouldnt have been an option as it was very cold (I am talking about snow showers and hail), but staying in No. 5 was a great experience. The Diesel heater kept us warm throughout the night and we were able to get up rested the next morning.
The children really enjoyed their lair under the roof and happily spent the morning reading their books to give us some extra snooze time.
The van is super well equipped with all the cooking dishes, plates, mugs and cutlery you need. Not to forget the little stash of wine and snacks that Mark so generously put in the van. If you decide to hire no. 5 you will not only find a fantastic VW Campervan at your disposal, but also a genuinely friendly and approachable owner who does make sure that you are having a good time.

well rested in the morning!

Stayed in the new forest. It was wonderful to tour round in the campervan. Make my self a cup of tea when I wanted to. Used the table to do art and craft instead of being squashed up in a car. It was great. Stayed in b&b. No problem parking the campervan there.

Mark was incredibly helpful and made hiring Blu for a family camping trip an easy and pleasurable experience. Blu was exactly as we had hoped for, a vintage camper but refurbished to a high standard that made for a fantastic few days down on the Dorset coast. I would highly recommend hiring Blu to anyone and look forward to our next trip.

I hired Izzy for 3 nights to travel around Anglesey and North Wales with my best friends. We had a blast! Izzy was super well equipped, the owners have truly thought of EVERYTHING! They even provided tin foil, hand sanitizer and plastic wine glasses! Perfect for a girls trip!

Izzy certainly attracted a lot of attention everywhere we went, people wanted to say Hi and ask us about the van! It was so nice to park up by the ocean and make a cup of tea, very relaxing!

It was fun to drive an older vehicle - no power steering, no computers, it was brilliant to get away from all that technology for a while. I was taken out for a test drive on collection, to make sure I was comfortable with the controls. This was really thoughtful!

We had a great trip, and would definintely recommend Izzy!

We took Flora to the Kentish coast for the 2016 Easter weekend and were blessed with some wonderful weather. We showed Flora some of the largest offshore wind farms in the world and walked along the beaches and cliffs when we werent cruising around taking on board lots of admiring looks. Flora did a great job and we all had a great weekend. Thanks Flora!

Me and my girlfriend hired Wyn for the Easter Bank Holiday to go to the Brecon Beacons and Bath. Shes a lovely vintage van with a lot of the original features like the Lino floor.
Wyns owner, Ray, was great. Before letting us drive off, he makes sure that you have a test drive to make sure that youre familiar with all the controls. Driving an old campervan is much different to driving a modern car, the gear change in particular. It was nice to go through everything before being let loose.
Wyn was great on the long drives and was really comfortable. And after our long walks it was great to put the kettle on and have a cup of tea before driving off. Ray supplies the gas and all the pots, pans, plates and cutlery so youre good to go straight away.
There were some creature comforts missing. Wyns speakers are being replaced so the radio isnt working at the moment but I can honestly say we didnt miss it on the trip. Also the fridge isnt connected but Ray does provide a cool box and ice packs.
We had a great time and are on the lookout for a Wyn of our own.

Taken way too long to get round to writing this review but we had an ace time in Dragon. She was exactly as promised. A fab van with great kit, a comfy bed and everything we needed including a wonderful view. We had a lovely holiday and a great van made all the difference on several rainy days. Dragons owner couldnt have been more helpful.

I hired Scoobi as a comfortable home for Glastonbury Festival. He was just what I needed - comfortable , easy to drive and so stylish (as long as you like orange). Alex was great to deal with, very good communication and all very straightforward throughout. Im sure I will hire again.

This van was lovely to drive and we enjoyed touring the Welsh coast. It was cosy and comfortable inside.However, we found the front seat impossible to turn round fully, and the roof lifting and lowering mechanism extremely awkward. It was a shame that the porta potty didnt fit into the van, and the water pump did not work.

We thought the van was excellent. For first time camper, we had a great experience. The van came with everything we needed for a long weekend away. Its not the biggest of vans but we are only a small family and was perfect for us and our baby. Mark was extremely helpful when we picked up the van and explained all about the features of the van, which we have to thank him for. All in all AAAA*****. highly recommended

My Husband and I have just had 6 days in Eleanor and we had an amazing time. Easy to drive comfortable and cosy.We would highly recommend Eleanor and Cameron as we had a lovely time.
Cameron has done a marvellous job with all the little extras LED lights in the roof black out curtains, the bed was surprisingly comfortable.
