We had a fantastic time at Glastonbury and it was made extra special by spending our time in this awesome Camper Van. I drove all the way from Warrington to Somerset and although it took me a few mins to get used to the gears it was great fun and added to the experience.We had no issued with the Van and lots of people waved and said hello. After a day out in the sun it was great to get back to the Van and chill out. Ray was really helpful and allowed me to park my car on his drive for 5 days.

The Bug at Glasto

Yogita was great - really made our holiday! Everyone was very envious! Dave (the owner) was also really good - lots of useful information, friendly and helpful. We would strongly recommend Yogita to anyone and hope to borrow Yogita again soon.

We hired Daisy (a 1970 yellow VW van based in Cornwall) from Peter. From the very first contact I had with Peter he was incredibly helpful and great to deal with and that made our trip even more enjoyable. When we arrived from London in Truro he made us tea and showed us around the van. He took me for a test ride up the road before we set off. He even did some shopping for us so we didnt have to spend time in the local supermarket. He comes highly recommended!

We took the van to St Agnes where we (my wife and two young kids) spent a lovely day and evening in the beautiful Beacon Cottage camp site. We cooked dinner in the van and the four of us slept in the van with no problems. The van is really well equipped with everything you could want for both inside and outside activity.

After St.Agnes we headed down to St.Ives for a couple of days on the beach. The van was great to drive and we got all the beeps and waves we were hoping for. Daisy is a head-turner alright!

Great trip. Cant recommend Peter and his van highly enough.

We hired Agness sister Polly for a bank holiday weekend this year and had an absolute blast!!

The van was well equipped, having everything you could want for a weekend away and more. The bed was comfortable and made for a wonderful nights sleep after a day of exploring Cornwall! She was lovely to drive albeit a little wobbly at one point on a high open bridge with strong cross winds! Eeek. Her owners provided all the necessary information on how best to drive and live in the van, we were well prepared. When we parked up on the first night, the pins to attach the electricity plug under the van were bent so we struggled to get this connected which was frustrating, although luckily we managed to sort this with the help from our camping neighbours!

Great van, great few days away! :)

We hired Velma for our trip to Glastonbury festival. We picked the van up from Lucy who was lovely and showed us everything we needed and advised everything in the van was at our disposal. Thankfully I hadnt done our festival big shop as half the stuff we needed was already included in the van. They really thought of everything from pop up wine glasses to marmite - amazing!

We would definitely hire from Camperbug again as it was such a smooth process and the van itself was in absolutely fantastic condition. Very spacious inside even with the roof down, with the roof up there was so much room for manoeuvre.

Well what can I say. What an amazing trip we had round Scotland. Skye was great fun to drive and came with everything we needed for our trip. We did have a problem with the gear linkage the day we picked her up (she is 40 years old so we can forgive that!) but this was quickly sorted by Colin who couldnt have done more to make sure we were comfortable and happy while we waited for repairs. All this after his wife had given birth to a new baby earlier in the week. Very impressed with the whole experience! We will be back again.

Fish, chips, sun, sea and Skye

We rented Kez for 7 days in June and she handled the long drive down to Somerset and back comfortably. The van was easy to drive, spotlessly clean and everything was in perfect condition and working order (including the awning stowed in the boot). The beds were comfortable and spacious. Charlie was really friendly, easy to communicate with, and happy to guide us through all the various features when collecting the van. Would absolutely recommend hiring Kez – we hope to do so ourselves!

We hired Harvey as a means of transport for my daughter and two of her friends to get to Prom. They absolutely loved their trip! Harvey is a lovely looking van - very comfortable, clean and looked immaculate.

The booking process and contact with the owner was very straight forward and he arrived on the day with plenty of time to spare.

Would recommend Harvey to anyone thinking of booking for a promwedding or holiday.

Dear prospective hirers,
Youre looking at fabulous owners and a great van! My boyfriend and I had the honour of being the first hirers of Scoobi. And a good choice it was! Alex and Simon, the owners, are incredibly friendly and helpful. It shows that theyve put a lot of love and work in the van, which looks great from the inside and outside. We had Scoobi for a five-day holiday to the very tip of Cornwall. A long drive, but no problem for Scoobi. The van easily sleeps two people in a comfortable double bed, which during the days can be turned into a bench and a table. There is plenty of space for your luggage, and a good gas stove to cook on. It is a great little (orange!) house on wheels! The van needs some time to warm up before driving, but drives smoothly when warm. What more to say? Its great to drive around and have the little horn beeping to the other campers on the road! Thank you Alex (and Simon) for the wonderful experience weve had with Scoobi!

Had a great holiday in Lola.

Toured around West Cornwall for six days with out any worries. Spent each night in a different campsite and just decided in the morning where to go next. Fantastic freedom.

Jo, the owner, was a great help before and during our trip and even provided a few little Cornish treats for the start of our journey.

Definitely recommend.

We hired "cliff" from Anne Targett. It is a beautiful top spec van which attracted several compliments from fellow campers at the Glastonbury festival. Everything worked perfectly and the collection and drop off went smoothly. Anne gave a full tour and was most welcoming and informative. I would look to reunite with cliff next June again!

We had the BEST time with Chas at Glastonbury! He is a great example of a vw camper. Really well organised, great layout, comfy bed and full of all the amenities you could ever need! Pauline and Terry were lovely to deal with and we cant wait to hire Chas again! Highly reccommended. <3

I booked Toots at short notice via Camperbug, and the whole process was painless.

Ian, the owner, is a top, top guy and was a joy to deal with. And as for Toots, well, he was awesome. We had an amazing couple of nights in the Lakes, and at first I was worried about how he would cope with some of the passes. I neednt have worried - he is a star, and was such a pleasure to drive. I joked to Ian that I was close to kidnapping Toots, as we loved him that much. The truth is, I wasnt really joking.

Hire Toots and youll not regret it. Top van, top owner.

After much researching, with hours reading websites and reviews we came across this perfect van for our needs, which were; A short break in north Wales driving up from near Milton Keynes, with our 8 months old son Oliver. The van performed magnificently, from every aspect, driving , economy and most of all camping, the only downside... we had to give it back! We can not wait until our next mini adventure in her! Me and my Husband thoroughly enjoyed spending a week in The Splitty for Glastonbury. It took a little while to get used to the original gearbox but once we settled our nerves, we were happy trundling along to Somerset. We were very impressed with the vans restoration and was beautifully decorated inside. The bed was quite comfy, luckily were both quite short, so we had enough space to sleep comfortably. We were camped around other VW campers but The Splitty was getting praise from all the neighbours!

The owners were lovely and have done a fantastic job with this campervan. I would love to see her again in the future!

Hired Little Nell for a family weekend on the North Yorkshire Coast. This is a family that doesnt do camping. Location of pick up, brilliant close enough to the coast for that first night run to a campsite as getting used to the van is no mean trick. Its nearly as old as me and although I do about 30,000 miles a year to and from work this experience was different. Not just different, better! The slower pace of life is fantastic, you instantly become a leader with the open road in front (which is great as you do need to leave a little extra room to stop these beasts), you do therefore have followers.
Little Nell is a real head turner and very popular. Loved every moment of it apart from the thunderstorm.
Owners are great and friendly, loads of help and advice, but the star is, as they say, the car, or in this case the van.
The location of this pick up is perfect for North Yorkshire, the moors and the coast.
Would I recommend this to my family and friends, most definitely.

Had a really great couple of nights in this campervan. Lovely campervan, really clean and well looked after. Had everything we needed and more! Lovely couple who we rented it from, showed us how to use everything, clearly but promptly so we could be off on our adventure. Were now saving up for our own! Would highly recommend hiring this campervan.
