Settle down in your pitch overlooking a lush working fruit farm where lovely orchards bear juicy fruit used in the farm-made chutney’s, jams and jellies sold alongside fresh Lincolnshire produce at the on-site shop. Camping conveniences include toilets, hot showers, a pot washing area, chemical disposal, drinking water, a motorhome point, and WiFi access. A bar and a restaurant are under a mile away from the site. For coastal days out, head to the nearby coastal towns of Skegness, Mablethorpe, Chapel St Leonards, and Ingoldmells. Spot wildlife at the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh, or observe playful seals at the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary. Take the kids for exciting adventures at the Fantasy Island theme park in Ingoldmells, or zoom around the stock-car circuit at Skegness Stadium. If you want to leave your vehicle behind, stroll over to the nearest bus stop that connects the campsite to Skegness and Louth. Feel free to ask the owners for taxi and bus timetables. There’s plenty to do at this dog-friendly campsite as well. Let the kids feed sheep and ponies, or collect eggs from the free-range hens. Spread out a blanket and enjoy a peaceful picnic in the lovely wildflower meadow on the campsite. Two pubs nearby serve excellent grub and drink.
