Havenhouse Farm is a friendly, family-run campsite ideally placed for a heavenly stay amid the scenery and fresh air of the Lincolnshire coast. The spacious farm site rests amid the varying greenery of rural Lincolnshire while affording easy access to the amusements and golden sand beach at set an ideal four-mile distance from the base. Local amenities are an easy mile’s drive or stroll from the picturesque village of Wainfleet. The green open spaces of the Lincolnshire Wolds are also easily accessible from the campsite, so if you’re the type that enjoys rambles and walks, we suggest packing in walking shoes, binoculars and even a bike or two. The former farm now serves as a welcoming family-owned base nestled in green surroundings that draw in wildlife, including feathered species like barn owls, ducks, plus more resident birds. Nature lovers can soak in the sights along the gorgeous coast nearby. Angling folk can enjoy hours of peaceful fishing courtesy of a private eight-peg fishing lake on-site – yes, do pack in your fishing gear. The waters a stocked with carp, roach, rudd, tench, and perch with record weights of14lbs. Guests are more than welcome to cast a line for a modest fee. River fishing in the Steeping River is also available at absolutely no charge – just bring along the gear and the suitable license. Pets most welcome.
