Pheasants Roost is a certificated site enjoying a peaceful and viewsome location on the shores of Rutland Water. A cycle track runs right outside the gate, making it easy for active types and nature lovers to get their daily dose of fresh air and adventure. Nature lovers can also explore the varied flora and fauna in the Lyndon Nature Reserve, set a short distance away. Alternatively, sit back and enjoy your well-earned break from the modern world as one should – with a cold drink of choice while lounging in an outdoor chair. The camping area is picturesque and peppered with an array of fruit trees and shrubs that provide spots with speckled shade to observe the free-roaming peacocks, hens, quails, and perhaps an occasional over-zealous canine. Tents and tourers are welcome.
