Look forward to a cosy countryside stay peppered with exciting outdoorsy activities like horse riding, mountain biking, horse riding and star gazing all in the midst of the stunning scenery of the Shropshire Hills. The site rests on the grounds of a seventeenth-century working farm and is just five minutes away from the lively market town of Bishop's Castle. The site itself is wildlife and haven and is a great place to kick back and observe the cautious critters that come out to feed and inspect the latest arrivals at the campsite. For more outdoor fun, head over to Offa's Dyke Path is nearby, or explore the Shropshire Hills on foot, bike or horse. There's heaps of space to stretch your legs and enjoy the freedom of being away from timetables and smog-filled cities. Guests are welcome to pitch a tent or set up camp on the non-electric grass pitches or book the fully-insulated camping pod with lighting, heating, electric sockets and a covered decking area for soaking in the views. Keep an eye out for fox, badger, deer, red kites and more birds and wildlife that enjoy staying at the farm as much as you. Tent campers have access to a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, and disabled-friendly facilities. Guests can order full English farmers breakfast for a modest fee.
