The campsite is ideal for a quick stopover or a weekend fishing escape amid a wealth of wildlife. Campers must note that this Is not an attractive site with landscaped gardens and a collection of top-notch conveniences. Sit back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on-site as you observe bushy-tailed squirrels and butterflies foraging for food. The fishing lakes are certain to draw anglers who can catch a variety of species ranging from mirror carp and koi to a vast collection of coarse fish. Guests can catch carp over 25lb from the bottom pool, which holds the biggest carp. The three other lakes have all types of coarse fish, and all fishing methods work. Melverley Farm is a back to basics site with just drinking water points and chemical disposal. There are spacious grass pitches with optional electricity for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Pets most welcome.
