Philpin Farm

The family-run Philpin Farm is a small, serene site set on a lovely hill farm in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, ideally placed for direct access to the trails leading to the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Outdoor adventurers can make plans to tackle the challenging paths to two of the famed peaks that run by this spacious, friendly site. Hardy peak baggers can also reach the starting point for the third peak, Pen-y-Ghent; on a fifteen-minute drive from the campsite. Outdoor explorers can uncover a wealth of natural wonders with ease, so feel free to use the site as your base for open-air adventures. Savour the marvels of human and natural endeavours at the Ribblehead Viaduct via the Settle-Carlisle Railway and soak in the jaw-dropping vistas along the way. For more active pursuits, explore the White Scar Caves that lead to waterfalls or take in the stunning views of dales, lakes and the glittering sea from White Hill, the highest point in Forest of Bowland. Cycling routes cutting through the Gisburn Forest also serve as a fab way to take in the sights. Head back to base to unwind on your spacious pitch and fire up the grill for a lovely evening barbie. A snack bar on weekends offers packed meals and cooked breakfasts. Pets welcome.
