The Gardeners Arms is a compact site attached to a welcoming pub amid idyllic countryside. The site is a convenient spot to hang your head for during an overnight stop and rests close to the Cheltenham racecourse (8 miles). The campsite sits on a corner of the car park and holds a camping area with space for campervans, motorhomes and even a Winnebago. There is room in the car park (not where the charging point is) for 6 vans with their solar panels. Guests are welcome to use the pub facilities when the establishment is open: however, there are no facilities on-site, barring a fresh water tap. Please call in advance if you require an electric meter, as the site tends to get quite busy. Waltz from pitch to pub in a matter of moments, and take your pick from several excellent dishes from the Sunday menu, buffet, and takeaway options. Canine companions will receive as warm a welcome as their owners, plus a complimentary bow of water served alongside your post-ramble tipple. The pub has a doggie menu and is a free house where the owners cook everything themselves as well as offer takeaway. The site is open 7 days a week but closed in the afternoon for a couple of hours in the winter. Guests are welcome to visit on Christmas day but have to book and pre-order as the site tend to get booked by September. If not using electricity, it is free to stay provided you eat in the pub.
