This small fishing and farm site is perfect for all campers and operated by attentive owners who are often praised by fellow campers for their attention to detail, and hospitality. This dog-friendly campsite rests between Monmouth and Coleford and offers guests all-day use of a spring-fed trout pond stocked with bream, perch, carp, and rudd. The pitches are well spaced, offering seclusion even on a bank holiday. On-site facilities include hot showers, laundry, chemical disposal, drinking water, a pot washing area, and a freezer. There are ample options for outdoor adventures here. Walkers can follow a range of woodland walks meandering past Broad Stone, Offa's Dyke, Monmouth, Symonds Yat, and the River Wye. Take a tour of the Caldicot Castle for a taste of local history, or discover a secret world of ancient mines below the trees at the Clearwell Caves. Discover wildlife ranging from badgers to bats or learn of Georgian gentility at The Kymin. Enjoy urbanized days out at both Monmouth and Coleford, set a smooth fifteen-minute' drive away, or take the tots to Forest of Dean and Go Ape for a fun day out with the family.
