The serene base remains enclosed by verdant pastures and affords spectacular views over the Lincolnshire Fens and boats, a friendly family team who are more than happy to clear niggling doubts and provide pointers on the local area – just ask. The owners have also set up several camping pods for those who shudder at the thought of wrestling tent pegs and sleeping on uneven ground. The abodes are fully insulated. Each comes equipped with electricity, sockets, USB charging points for keeping phones and laptops charged, a kettle for brewing hot drinks, plus a veranda for soaking in the views and enjoying your steaming beverage. The pods also feature a brazier for alfresco sizzles and a firepit area outside each pod for browning marshmallows or keeping the cold at bay on a star-gazing evening. Shared amenities include an indoor toilet, washroom, washing up area and canteen facilities. Showers are available inside the owner's house on the premises. The nearby Woodhall Spa holds a range of shops and an award-winning butcher for barbeque bits. Pets welcome.
