The small family-run farm estate is walking distance from the lovely town of Lydney and trifling driving distance from a wealth of lively pubs, cycling track, and outdoor activities. Enjoy easy access to stunning landscapes like the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Forest Dean, and a host of exciting locations across south-west England, wider Gloucestershire and South Wales. When you’re not relaxing in the shade of mature trees, or enjoying lazy picnics in the countryside, fire up the barbeque for a delicious alfresco camping meal on the banks of the gleaming lake. The well-equipped park offers a brand new toilet, disabled facilities, a washing up area and a dog wash area for muddy pooches post riverside dips. There are facilities for chemical disposal, and water taps are evenly spread out across the site. Enjoy your stay at this beautiful site campground set on lush fields, enclosed by trees with a small lake to one side of the grounds. If you’re keen to head out for a bite, take a short drive to the village of Blakeney, and indulge in fish and chips, or dine in at the Italian restaurant. Stock up on camping essentials at the village shop, and be sure to include some ingredients for your waterside barbeque back at the site.
