Dakota Park is a small, five van Certificated Location on the B1192, right on the edge of the pretty village of Coningsby. The site offers guests a picturesque and peaceful location for member-exclusive holidays, where one can sit back, sip on local cider, and admire the ever-changing hues of the sunset sky. A quick amble up the road leads to RAF Coningsby and "The Battle of Britain memorial flight", where one can browse through an array of plane designs, including Chipmunks, spitfires, the Dakota and the Lancaster. Campers can observe planes regularly soaring during the week and watch displays when pilots train for shows. A long list of country pubs with home-cooked meals, plus Italian, Indian, and Chinese restaurants, are available. Dogs are welcome.
