There are no showers or toilets at this site, so it may not be the best option for families with small kids and any campers who enjoy an abundance of creature comforts, usually available at more commercial, high-density parks. Communal amenities are kept to just drinking water access and chemical disposal. Spend your days exploring the delights of the naturally lush surrounds, or kick back on your base and savour the tranquil atmosphere, further highlighted by the lack of screeching, scampering kids. Mosey over to the nearby hamlet of Sutton Scarsdale, a lovely hamlet serving as a central base for explores to places like Bolster Castle, Hardwick Hall, and Chesterfield. Active, outdoorsy types can rumble over to the famous Peak District National Park, set a smooth thirty-minute drive away, and enjoy a range of open-air activities.
