The campsite enjoys a convenient location midway between the picturesque villages of Thornthwaite and Braithwaite, which are both a fifteen-minute trot from the site. Guests can enjoy quick access to local amenities like shops, pubs. Keswick is an outdoor wanderer’s haven and offers a range of activities for all ages and abilities. Spend your days engaging in exciting water-based antics on the gleaming lake, or climb a delightful crucible of hills directly from the town. Explore the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle, or head over to Catbells, one of the most treasured fells in the Lake District. Stock up on produce and meats at the market in Keswick, and purchase marshmallows to brown over the flickering campfire at dusk. Head back to base to unwind on your grass or hardstanding pitch that comes with or without electric hookups.
