A 5km footpath around the site makes it easy to amble around the lake at a pace of choice, soaking in views of the quiet yet lush surroundings. Active types can get right down to water-based antics with the kids in tow. Hire pedalos, dinghies, Canadian canoes, surf skis and windsurfers for a modest fee and settle in for splashes and giggles.
