West Wayland Touring Park is a lovely little, well-maintained spot with oodles of space to stretch out and a peaceful atmosphere for plugging in and forgetting the outside world. This friendly, family-run site is ideal for guests who prize tranquillity, big skies, and relaxing settings that don’t cost the earth. There is no list of amenities, no swimming pools, noisy evening entertainment or rowdy campers. Instead, the open countryside, spacious open area, and convenient bus service provide guests with a quiet place to read a book in the sunshine, stroll about on foot, and tuck into fresh fish and chips meals courtesy of an eatery nearby. There is a well-stocked shop on the premises if you don’t feel like rumbling into Looe, Polperro and Liskeard. Tents, tourers and pets are welcome.
