The welcoming campsite rests around a 17th-century mansion, and rests on whopping thirty-six-acres, consisting of lush woodland and garden surrounds, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing break. The cheerful Hill family are always at hand to answer your questions and show you around the campsite. Thoughtful touches like an array of entertainment, and a large, heated, covered pool are just some of the features that make this an exceptional stop for families. The nippers can burn pent up energy as they play ball games and chase each other around on the large field. Barns are set aside for friendly rounds of table tennis and pool tables. There is a library plus a reading room for those who prefer to travel into worlds crafted by imaginative authors. A fully stocked shop takes care of camping essentials, saving guests a trip to the nearest town. Purchase marshmallows for twilight singalongs around the flickering flames. Barbeques are encouraged, so feel free to slap on eggs, meats and other bits on the grill for alfresco sizzles. There are two fields with electric and non-electric grass plots. One field is aimed at families and rests near the shops, barns and playparks. Pets welcome.
