Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is a spacious, friendly site set in a stunning position on a picturesque headland overlooking the peaceful island of Cardigan, which is a gorgeous nature reserve owned and managed by The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. The seaside resort of Gwbert is within easy reach, and the buzzing market town of Cardigan is a mere three miles away. Guests are welcome to pitch or park up on optional electric tents and take in spectacular sceneries of the Teifi estuary and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Spend your days unwinding on this peaceful site nestled on a working farm that first opened its doors in 1993. The kids will have heaps of fun saying hello to the fluffy farm animals, including sheep, goats, pigs, rare breed cattle, chickens, rabbits and more. The munchkins will also enjoy stunning fenced clifftop walks to the headland, where they can observe grey seals that frolic in the waters and breed in the caves below the farm. Bottlenose dolphins also visit the waters around the site, and on calm days they come closer to the shore. Bring along a pair of field glasses to look at a wealth of birdlife in the area. Head back to base for sunset barbeques. Pets are most welcome.
