If you’re in search of a serene campsite devoid of ear-splitting screeches and the light pattering of little footsteps, come on over to Stroud Hill Park. This adults-only campsite enjoys a delightful rural location and sits next to a sprawling golf course in the picturesque village of Pidley. The site is primarily for motorhomes and caravans yet is ideal for tenting as well, especially within the camping area looking out over the on-site restaurant. Tent plot charges include a tent, car, awning or gazebo. Guests can opt for grass, fully serviced grass bases or hard standing pitches. Electric, water and Wi-Fi charges are included in the overall price of your spacious pitch. The site does not impose a strict arrival and departure schedule and does not add any fees for early check-ins. At the centre of the campground, a timber-framed structure houses a shop, a well-stocked bar and an excellent restaurant for days you’d prefer someone else to do the cooking. There are excellent toilets and well-maintained bathrooms with showers in the same building ideally positioned for the ease of disabled guests. Entertainment is more adult-oriented and consists of a tennis court, a massive three-acre coarse fishing lake (well-stocked with bream, carp, and roach,) and an eighteen-hole golf course next door.
