Smithy Fields Camping is a peaceful, lush, adults-only campsite nestled in the heart of the sleepy village of Alstonefield. The site enjoys a picturesque location in a beautiful Peak District village above the valley, sandwiched between Dovedale and Wolfescote Dale. Savour the relaxing atmosphere as you unwind on a spacious grass-only plot with electric meters, toilets, hot showers, and chemical disposal. As a small adults-only site, there is limited space, and the owners cannot accept groups, tents over 6m or motorhomes exceeding an 8m length. Glampers can unwind in two swish shepherd’s huts boasting exceptional vistas of the surrounding countryside. The glamping units rest in private areas of the site and sleep two. Dogs are welcome on the campsite, and one dog is welcome in the smaller Berties Hut.
