One of the first things you’ll see as you rumble into Beech Croft Farm is the smiling faces of owners Julie, John and Jodie Gregory, who manage the campsite alongside a small sheep farm. The farm lies nuzzled amid the lush landscapes of the renowned Peak District National Park and enjoys a central location between the bustling towns of Buxton and Bakewell. Guests who enjoy the great outdoors are ideally placed for open-air explores in the Peak District, so go ahead and pack in your walking shoes or bikes for glorious hours amid diverse yet scenic landscapes. The campsite itself lies in a lovely sheltered meadow, affording spectacular vistas of the enclosing area, including the lush Chatsworth House and Gardens. Walking folk are in a convenient spot for hours of peaceful walks, including famed trails like Pennine Bridleway, the Monsal Trail, and the Limestone Way. For urban days out, rumble over to charming towns and villages like Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth and spend your days pottering around the shops, pubs, and eateries. The owners welcome campfires as long as they are raised off the ground and kept in control at all times. Excellent communal amenities include the usual like heated toilets and shower blocks, washing up area, laundry on-site, drinking water and more. Canines are most welcome.
