With plenty of views to go around and easy access to shops and attractions in the towns of Bakewell and Buxton, you’ve just discovered the ideal spot to pitch a tent or set up camp in a motorhome. Kick back and soak in the views of Miller’s Dale from the comfort of your pitch. The campsite looks out over the rocky landscape from an elevated position, so look forward to beautiful vistas as you huddle around the campfire at dusk, or unzip your tent on a misty morning. If you feel like stretching your legs, there are plenty of ways to work up and appetite and take in the sights and sounds of Derbyshire. Enjoy lovely walks and cycling along the Monsal Trail that leads into Bakewell, or head to the nearest pub, which is just under a mile from the campsite for a delicious meal. Explore the sceneries of the Chee Dale, or discover more cosy pubs nearby. The owners will leave you to it after check-in and head over to the farm right next to the camp. Head over to Bakewell for relaxing strolls by the River Wye or visit Buxton to take a look at outstanding architecture of days past. Explore Roman baths and visit the Grade II listed Devonshire Dome in Buxton Spa, or head over to the village of Castleton for a look at the ruined Peveril Castle. End your day with a rejuvenating dip in the hired hot tub, or sit around the crackling fire and enjoy the stars above. There are locally sourced breakfast packs, and a well-stocked farm shop on the grounds for delicious barbeques and hearty breakfasts.
