Farditch Farm is a tranquil, caravan and motorhome site at the centre of the stunning Peak District National Park, offering just eleven pitches enclosed by lovely landscaping. Families and couples in search of a quiet retreat are in for a treat as the restricted number of pitches ensures ample privacy and room to move about in beautiful surroundings. The pitches are all hard standing, offering motorhome and caravan campers a nice, flat surface to set up camp and enjoy the views. Each pitch has electricity and water, drainage, and Wi-Fi. There is a communal kitchen plus a lounge area with a pool table. The nearest town, Buxton, is four miles away, and a small pub serving delicious food and beer is an effortless ten minutes away. Walkers and cyclists can wander for miles along popular trails like Monsal and Tissington. Other outdoorsy activities include climbing, horse riding, and canoeing. Explore the gardens and stately rooms of Chatsworth House, just twenty minutes from the campground. Sample Bakewell’s famous tart and pudding, or use Buxton as a base to explore Manchester, Derby, Sheffield, and Stoke. The owners do not permit children under the age of eighteen: however, the on-site holiday cottages welcome tots.
