Open all year, Staden Grange invites outdoor enthusiasts to set up camp right on six sparling acres of woodland and farmland, right on the fringes of the Peak District and the Derbyshire Dales. Use the campsite as a base to venture into the spa town of Buxton, and the Derbyshire countryside. The site holds bed and breakfast, a campsite set in two acres of woods, and a small farm. Secure a secluded, spacious pitch in the shade of the trees, or treat yourself to a cosy glamping bell tent. The munchkins will find hours of amusement at Archie’s Park, a miniature farm for animal handling, and farming activities. Let the kids hold fluffy guinea pigs, make friends with Archie the donkey, or feed frolicsome goats and fuzzy alpacas. Guests can explore the cycle tracks in the woods, find the perfect spot to lay down a blanket and enjoy a lazy picnic and get acquainted with the natural wildlife on the campsite. Tots can burn energy on the climbing frame and visit Archie’s Farm for a day of fun. End the day with a refreshing snack at the seasonal tearoom, or whip up a delicious barbeque as the sun begins to set. If you’d prefer to head out for a meal take a two-mile walk to Buxton and while away the evening at a pleasant pub.
