The site rests close to two friendly Derbyshire Dales towns, Matlock and Bakewell, creating the perfect location for guests to explore the area. Hop on the Limestone Way, which passes close to the campsite and enjoy access to four significant footpaths nearby. Stunning Stanton Moor borders the site and is a beautiful spot to explore the 'Nine Ladies' stone circle. Pleasant walks are best savoured whilst walking along the River Lathkill, where one can immerse oneself in the beautiful scenery of Lathkill Dale. Hardy campers can tackle climbs up Robin Hood's Stride and Catcliffe Rocks or enjoy exciting watersports. The site offers hardstanding pitches with optional electric meters for tents and touring vehicles. Excellent amenities are available, and pets are welcome
