Quiet and relaxing camping settings are a given at Middleton Top Campsite, a friendly base nestled on the famed High Peak Trail at the beginning of the Pennine Bridleway. Guests are welcome to set up camp on this warm base and soak in stunning views of the rolling countryside while savouring a relaxed pace of life, far removed from the hectic pace of modern life. There is plenty of space to stretch out and drink in the vistas as this privately run member-exclusive site only accommodates five touring vehicles or ten tents at any given to me. Those inclined to enjoy outdoor pursuits are ideally positioned on the edge of the Peak District National Park, ensuring plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, hiking and more. Spend your days unwinding at the base or head out for explores in the stunning landscapes around. Head into the Peak District and wander from reservoirs to viaducts, or observe an abundance of wildlife and habitats with ease. Learn how thousands of years of history shaped the park as you soak in the sights and sounds of rugged landscapes and explore wild and remote woods, limestone dales, pastures and meadows.
