Tackle the river rapids, and enjoy beautiful riverside views as you work up a sweat paddling as far as you please. If you’d prefer to remain in dry ground, why not lace up your walking shoes, and wander into the beautiful Wye Valley? For more lush sceneries plus fantastic walking and cycling routes, head on further into the timeless landscapes of the Forest Dean, and ramble past valleys, and rivers or hike up hills for spectacular views. Enjoy a city break with the family in Hereford. See the majestic cathedral, gaze at the Mappa Mundi, or tour the half-timbered houses on the Black and White Trail. Head back to your dog-friendly pitch for a scrumptious barbeque made from local produce purchased at Hereford. If you’re too tired to cook, dine out at closest pub a short walk away, or pop into one of the pubs or restaurants in Hereford. There’s ample parking space for caravans and motorhomes, plus showers, toilets, a washing up area, and provisions for waste disposal.
