Positioned on the cusp of Ledbury, in the lovely rural settings of Herefordshire, Woodside Country Park is the place to be for vast, landscaped grounds, open countryside views, on-site fishing, and delightful wild water swimming. This family-run holiday site welcomes tent, caravan, and motorhome campers, and offer a choice selection of camping pods, self-catering lodges and bunkhouses. Facilities include hot showers and toilets, a washing up area, laundry, drinking water, and Wi-Fi access. The staff employs a hands-off approach – available when needed, but otherwise unobtrusive. Settle in and get acquainted with the sprawling site, extending over a whopping twenty-eight acres. The site holds several ponds and a lovely conservation area that brims with seas of bobbing wildflowers plus thoughtfully placed benches and picnic tables for when you want to sit back and take in the views. Let the kids try their hand at fishing, or take the tots around to catch glimpses of wildlife around the ponds. If you and the family love doing anything by water, the soft-bottom lake is ideal for a refreshing dip on a sweltering summer day. For more fresh air, head out on gentle walks, or rumble into the picturesque market town and amble along its cobbled streets, or marvel at ancient black and white timber-framed houses. If a city break is what you need, Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester are nearby.
