Dive right into the scenery with your walking boots laced up. Take an amble to the nearby Offa’s Dyke Path, and work up a sweat as you tackle the hundred-and-seventy-seven mile trail. Warm-up beforehand on the local paths near the site, or take a ten-minute family-friendly walk to the ruins of Longtown Castle. For more fun days out, take a ten-minute drive for activities like laser clay pigeon shooting, downhill mountain bike courses, canoe and kayak rides in Hay-on-Wye, and a memorable trek in the company of a llama. Stock up on camping vitals and frozen food at the village shop nearby, and head back to the campsite for a delicious, sizzling barbeque.
