Greenacres Glamping

Greenacres Glamping

Located: Campsites in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire

Treat yourself to a fantastic glamping experience, in an excellently placed, small, luxury site no more than ten minutes from the Forest of Dean, and the town of Ross-on-Wye. Greenacres Glamping is the place to be for sumptuous glamping in well-equipped bell tents, domes, and yurts. There’s plenty of space for dogs and munchkins to trot around and release pent-up energy. Each unit comes equipped with a lovely wood-burning stove for cold nights, plus shared amenities like a washing-up area, Wi-Fi, a heated shower block with separate cubicles, and a freezer. Now that you’re settled in, it’s time to explore the attractions around. Take a fifteen-minute drive into the Forest of Dean, and spend the day out on scenic walks and bike rides. Soar above the treetops at Go Ape, or let the little ones enjoy the magical trailed themes in Puzzlewood, just twenty-five minutes away. Fans of fishing and watersports can head into Symonds Yat, or Ross-on-Wye for hours of peaceful angling, and sightseeing canoe trips across the River Wye. Head out for a meal at the small pub, and attached curry house in the village, or stock up on meats, mushrooms, and eggs for an alfresco barbeque back at the site. Huddle around the campfire on a chilly day, and toast marshmallows over the hissing flame.
