The reception houses a well-stocked shop with all the camping essentials you could expect. Stock up on homegrown vegetables, eggs, and meats, and other handy frozen and fresh produce. The shop is a quick trot from the pitches and a great place to collect ingredients for a sizzling barbeque. The pitches are spread out in quiet, scenic settings, and are spacious enough that you’ll never feel penned in or overlooked. On-site facilities include chemical waste disposal points, plus hardstanding and grass pitches with 16 amp hookups. It’s worth noting that there are no provisions for toilet and shower facilities. Dog owners can head to the back of the site for a lovely dog walking area, and a leafy woodland walk. Despite its remote settings, the campsite is close to urban centres like Leicester and Northampton, plus the A14, M6, and M1. The market town of Lutterworth is a trifling ten-minute drive away. History buffs will enjoy discovering lovely homes in the area, and foodies can stock up on artisan cheese and bread at the award-winning Market Harborough. Stratford-upon-Avon is fifty minutes away, while Leicester and Rugby are under a half hours distance from the site.
