Silverstone Farm Campsite is a family-friendly base set an ideal five minutes stroll from the excitement of a race weekend. The site is not all about motor racing, yet its excellent position on the fringes of the village makes it a particularly exceptional spot for catching the events at Silverstone. The circuit rests a mile or so from the farm, allowing guests the freedom to amble back to base and enjoy a cold beverage of choice while other visitors queue to get out of the car park following the races. Evade the hectic traffic jam as you gather at the entertainment marquee to discuss the day’s events over refreshing bevvies and dinner, available on race weekends only. Breakfast rolls are also available for refuelling before an active day. The family-friendly atmosphere paired with heaps of space and the freedom to enjoy informal football games make this campsite an excellent base for family breaks and racing weekends. The owners implement a no-noise policy after 11 pm to ensure all guests have quiet settings for the night. There is a lovely duck pond on-site, and the backdrop of the Bucknell Woods adds to the ambience of the rural atmosphere of the campsite. A 5-minute trot leads to the village pub and shop. Barbeques are encouraged, and pets welcome.
