Shelford Nurseries Caravan Park is a cheery compact base nestled in the green settings of a picturesque traditional farming village. The welcoming campsite rests at the base of Shelford Hill amid the fertile Trent Valley, providing campers with quiet, scenic settings for a relaxing stay. Guests are welcome to pitch or park up on grass and hardstanding pitches with optional electric hook-ups and enjoy the peaceful surroundings which belie the site’s proximity to Nottingham’s buzzing shopping centre. Nature lovers and those with a passion for romantic countryside escapes are welcome to set out on quiet local walks filled with sights and sounds of the local wildlife. Stop at the local village pub for a well-earned drink or set out to explore the tranquil villages around the site. There is an excellent collection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs to suit all taste buds, and plenty of takeaways for days you don’t feel like venturing outside. This adults-only base holds 23 flat grass pitches and seven hardstanding with access to toilets, showers and an on-site bar. Water waste and chemical disposal points are also available on-site. Friendly canine companions are most welcome to tag along and scamper along peaceful country roads.
