The Green Man is a clean, well-maintained campsite set amid lush surroundings with a handy pub located on the premises. The camping space is accessible through the left-hand side of the pub and holds a mix of grass and hardstanding plots with optional electric hook-ups for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Set up camp on a roomy pitch and look out at miles of green fields with long grass swaying in the gentle breeze, serving as an excellent spot for wildlife watching. Communal amenities are clean and modern, consisting of essentials like toilets, drinking water points, a fridge with a freezer, and chemical disposal. The welcoming pub on-site does not look like much on the outside: however, the beer garden and restaurant are well-liked by the locals and provides parched wanderers with a range of real ales and entertainment on some weekends. Sunday lunches here are delicious and earn rave reviews from booth campers and diners. A local shop, a fish and chips shop, and a Chinese restaurant with takeaway within walking distance from the base. The Green Man Inn also rests on a bus route, providing guests with an easy way of sightseeing and exploring without the hassle of securing parking space in the bustling summer months.
