Leek Edge Camping Site is a lovely, small, sheltered campsite affording spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere for an authentic get-away-from-it-all camping stay. The friendly site rests just outside the lively town of Leek, which is a leisurely 20-minute amble or a 5-minute car ride away. Leek Edge Camping Site is a privately run campsite and a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site, welcoming only members. There are no more than five hardstanding, fully-serviced pitches for stress-free stays, ensuring ample room for stretching out and a quiet camping atmosphere. Clean and modern facilities include the usual, like a toilet block, hot showers with lashings of hot water, washing up area, laundry, drinking water points, storage amenities, electric shaver sockets, and ice pack freezing conveniences. The pleasant and friendly couple who run the farm is more than happy to point out the best attractions in the area and guide guests towards several shops, pubs and places to eat. In addition, there are heaps of quiet lanes that make for peaceful and scenic walks. Leek Edge Camping Site is also an excellent base for anyone who wants to explore Leek and the surrounding areas, including the stunning Peak District National Park, the Manifold Way, and The Roaches.
