Quiet and private, Whitelea Farm is a lovely, quaint campsite brimming with heaps for all members of the family to enjoy. Say hello to the alpacas, love being fussed over, and make friends with plenty of other farm animals like ducks, horses and owls, who keep the young campers and nature lovers entertained and agog. The scenery is only made better by a complete lack of phone and TV signals, ensuring a quality family-friendly escape filled with adventures and open-air exploits. The generous, maintained pitches consist of hardstanding bases with electric hook-ups and fully-serviced hardstanding plots. Access to the camping area is through a driveway surfaced with tarmac. Each pitch has a private bay sheltered by young trees. This is a no-frills campsite, with lean and well-maintained amenities narrowed down to a toilet block, hot showers, drinking water points, and chemical disposal. Sit back and soak in the lush backdrops or lace-up walking shoes to potter around Leek (5-miles away), brimming with independent shops, pubs and cafes. Pets welcome.
