Rumble down a quiet lane, and you’ll find this welcome spot opposite St James Church with a sign of a fish right outside the fishery and campsite gates. Anglers can get down to the pleasurable sport of fishing on three well-stocked pools enveloped by lush surrounds and plenty of wildlife. Non-anglers can throw down a blanket and curl up with a book by the ponds, glancing up to observe swooping kingfishers, busy woodpeckers, chirping Wagtails, plus butterflies and dragonflies hovering over the water.
