The site is spacious, peaceful, and boasts lovely open views, which are best savoured on crisp mornings as the rural landscape comes to life with birdsong, wildlife and the occasional clip-clop of a passing horse. Hop on the A1 nearby to visit buzzing spots like Newcastle, Darlington, Durham, Sunderland, Hartlepool and Weardale – all located within an hour’s drive from the gates. A popular village pub serving hot, fresh meals is perfect for a lazy day or post-exertion refreshments and rests approximately 500 meters away. Level grass and hardstanding bases are available for member-exclusive stays in campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Dogs are welcome.
