The Hammer And Pincers Campsite is a friendly and laid-back little pub site opened in 2017 and is ideal for a rural holiday or resting your head whilst exploring the lively towns and picturesque villages nearby, including Durham, Bishop Auckland, Darlington, and Newton Aycliffe. A short stroll from the pitch to the pub makes it an excellent stop for those who enjoy homemade, fresh meals, Sunday roasts, breakfasts, light lunches, and evening meals. Guests can also stock up on delicious house products, including jam, biscuits, savoury meals, cheeses, and more. A large selection of hot and cold drinks, wines, beers, and spirits is ideal after a tiring day of sightseeing. The site has 20 hardstanding bases with 12 electric meters, plus ten camping pitches with four electric connections. Small campfires are encouraged, and dogs are welcome.
