Family-friendly escapes are in order at the Mill Farm Country Park, a splendid, family-run site nestled in a peaceful rural spot on the fringes of the picturesque village of Skipsea. The park enjoys easy access to the sea and serves as an excellent base for exploring the coastal attractions in Yorkshire. Coastal capers are a cinch, with Bridlington and Hornsea located a respective eight and six miles away. Look forward to larks on uncrowded Blue Flag beaches, strolls on promenades, and explores around a historic harbour, followed by refreshing ice cream to cool down or a more substantial meal of fresh seafood. Mill Farm holds a total of 52 spacious pitches with optional electric connections for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There is a mix of grass and hardstanding plus seasonal plots as well. Guests who prefer to travel light can stay in one of the well-appointed shepherd’s huts on the premises. Added facilities at the campsite include a heated toilet and shower block, washing up points, and chemical waste disposal. Designated wheelchair-friendly features are also available if required. A 3-acre field is perfect for family fun like ball games, football and cricket. There is a charming walk on-site that is ideal for walkies with your canine companion as well.
