The site sits on a peaceful, traditional working farm and rests in the capable hands of welcoming proprietors Edward and Margaret Hirdm for the last 40 years. Guests are in a perfectly tranquil and scenic area to embark on walks and hikes of varying levels. With Lake District on your doorstep and open fertile countryside enveloping your pitch, Woodend Campsite is an excellent base for a holiday heavily spent enjoying the great outdoors. Miles of scenic walks kick off right from the campsite, and a 1-mile trot leads to the picturesque, sleepy village of Austwick, which boasts several shops and a fantastic local pub. Standard facilities are available, and pets are welcome.
