Cool K9 is a laid-back, adults-only campsite near Malton, designed especially for sociable dogs and the humans who adore them. Set within more than 11 acres, the site features a secure, double-gated seven-acre field where four-legged guests can enjoy complete off-lead freedom. There is plenty to keep energetic pooches entertained, including an agility course, trampolines, climbing frames, tunnels, sandpits and ball pools. Water-loving dogs can splash about in the natural freshwater stream, while open field space provides ample room for games and canine capers. Large grass pitches welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes, with awnings and enclosed dog gardens permitted. Facilities for humans include toilets, showers and a camp kitchen with a fridge and freezer, while muddy paws can be dealt with in the dedicated dog wash and grooming room. The welcoming dog café serves hot and cold drinks alongside delicious cakes, and an on-site shop stocks essentials, refreshments, doggy ice creams, natural foods and treats. Evenings can be spent swapping stories around the communal firepit before settling down for a peaceful night. The nearby village of Sherburn has two handy shops, while the beaches, forests, Yorkshire Wolds and North York Moors offer plenty of dog-friendly adventures farther afield. Cool K9 welcomes guests aged 16 and over and is best suited to friendly, well-socialised dogs that are comfortable mixing freely with others.
